Several of you have asked whether we are having a MD-2 Texas Lions Environmental Photo contest.  The answer is yes.  Lion Nick Parker, a very good amateur photographer, has volunteered to conduct the state contest for us. Please send your District entry postmarked no later than February 9, 2009, the Monday after our Third Council meeting in Kerrville, to:

Lion Nick will hold the judging of the entries at 4pm on Thursday, February 12, 2009.  As with the Peace Poster contest, the winning entry will be forwarded on to Lions Clubs International as the entry from MD-2 Texas to meet their March 1, 2009 deadline.
